It was one of the easiest setups -
Sorry to hear the damage on yours - I have a little wrappage on the very end (baimun is going to kill me after this as I don't know the proper name for them) but the runing cranks on the end.
And aside from me breaking his cigarette, he's really cool.
Oh, his strap is way too short, but yeah...
EDIT
And his guitar neck is bent and his amps don't fit on the base.
But other than that, he's cool.

You mean the.... tuners.
I'm going to hold judgement on the set until I see it in person.... every one of the prototype pics the guitar was scaled too large for the figure.

I like listening to good guitar, but have no clue of the mechanics behind it all. I look at it as if it was "magik!"
baimun, the guitar is way smaller than it looks in the protos. Looks just about right.
And the damage to mine was entirely my fault, which makes it that much more annoying.
Well, at least you can say it was due to your over-enthusiasm in whating to set him free!
Actually, it's a long story.
First off, his necklace wasn't hanging quite right, so I tried to tug it even. This resulted in the tiny metal loop opening and it falling apart. So, I popped off his head (being careful of the cig) removed the necklace, and fixed it. Then I went to pop his head back on and completely forgot about his cigarette. Grabbed his head and broke it right off.
I should be able to glue it back on, but damn stuff like that is irritating.
If you recall from my review TWO FREAKIN' WEEKS AGO I mentioned the optical illusion photograph theory. Slash is arched leaning backwards which somehow creates the illusion that the guitar is bigger than it should be in photographs. In person the scale looks proper.
To steady the amps, I just filed down the two pegs at the back. Only one didn't line up but just using the two pegs in front is more than enough to hold the amps in place.
